We all have a tendency to overindulge during the holidays, and often we treat our dog to special foods as well. While a tidbit of turkey meat isn’t going to harm most dogs, when canines consume large amounts of rich foods, it can be hazards to their health. Guests often can’t resist those puppy-dog-eyes and slip snacks down to waiting mouths, not knowing they actually could be causing harm. Often, pets end the holidays with gastrointestinal upset, but some end up with a more serious condition – Pancreatitis.
