Tailgate Rally For Rescue Dogs Tonight in Philadelphia!
Within the haze of anger and frustration dog lovers are feeling in response to Michael Vick’s return to football, sometimes the true victims of the crimes he committed are forgotten – the dogs. That’s why later this afternoon the Pennsylvania SPCA and Best Friends Animal Society are hosting a rally in support of 2nd chance dogs – those who have been rescued from cruelty cases, neglect, starvation and fighting rings. The SPCA and BFAS hopes this rally will raise public knowledge of the plight of Pit Bulls in shelters and increase adoption numbers of these deserving dogs.
