Beanie Baby “Bo”!
I thought the Beanie Baby craze was over, but apparently Ty Inc. (the manufacturer of the toys) is trying to make a comeback with a beanbag toy replica of the presidential pup - Bo. Ty announced the concept for the stuffed Portuguese Water Dog puppy on April 16th, just 2 days after Bo came to live with the Obamas. Currently Bo’s are selling for prices between 4.95 and 139.95 (for a AUTHENTICATED “2.0 Bo”) on ebay.
Ty says it will donate a portion of the profits from Bo to local animal charities. The exact portion was not disclosed.
