Dogs and Cataracts

Did you know that canines can suffer from cataracts? While age is sometimes the cause of this eye condition, in most cases it is an inherited genetic issue that can occur at any age. There are certain breeds that are more prone to cataracts than others including the ever-popular Labrador Retriever and the Bichon Frise.
