Book Review: “Indognito” – Plus Costumed Canine Photo Contest!

September 14th, 2008 by Dan

If you’ve been an avid reader of Dog Reflections for any amount of time you know we love dogs dressed up in costumes! We were thrilled to receive a copy of “Indognito – a Book of Canines in Costume” by photographer Karen Ngo, for review. This publication is done in coffee table style with beautiful full page photographs depicting breeds from Brussels Griffons to Great Danes! Most of Ngo’s work is shot up close and does a fantastic job of capturing the expressions of each canine model.

As for the costumes, they range from the simple but cute (see the Halloween Schnoodle or the Birthday Boy Dachshund) to the complex (see the Two Peas In A Pod Beagle or my personal favorite, the Wizard Of OZ Chihuahuas!). With Halloween coming up, this is the perfect gift for any dog lover.
