Massachusetts Tries To Ban “Pet Rental”
Remember my post about “FlexPetz“? The company where people can rent a dog for a few hours? This might sound like a good idea….for about a second! Dogs need routines and the idea of a “Flexpet” doesn’t provide that.

Anyway, now there is a hearing is scheduled this Thursday on House Bill 4753, which would prevent commercial entities from leasing pets by the hour or day in Massachusetts.
Bryn Conklin of the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals wrote, “FlexPetz sends a contrary message to the public making it socially acceptable to treat dogs as disposal commodities that can be rented for pleasure at their leisure”
