Product Review: Joyce Chen Unlimited Kitchen Scissors - For Raw Feeders!

April 16th, 2008 by Dan

As a raw feeder I often encounter the issue of cutting up large pieces of meat - this can be an absurdly time consuming task if all you have around is a dull knife or an old pair of kitchen sheers that just wern’t made to cut through hard poultry bones. I heard about the Joyce Chen Unlimited Kitchen Scissors on a raw feeding list and decided to pick up a pair and give them a try.

At first I was surprised because these scissors are VERY small! They looked like….scissors! Like the old adage says, you should never judge a book by its cover! They are exceptionally sharp and can cut up a whole chicken with little effort! I was amazed at the amount of time that was saved and mess that was prevented(as well as relief to my arm muscles from sawing) and I couldn’t believe I hadn’t invested in a pair sooner.

They are dishwasher safe and are designed for right or left handed cutting. The handles are red (so you can find them easily in your drawer) and flexible for added comfort.

If you are a raw feeder who has a need to cut meat on a regular basis, pick up a pair of these great scissors - you will not regret it! Or if you are a cook, these will also be useful to you (even though you’re reading a review on the Dog Guide!)!
