This photo shows 2 Hovawarts prowling the woods. Hovawarts are a German working breed that are excellent guard dogs. They are quite independant and think for themselves often - thus they are not a breed for someone who wants a dog who will listen at all times. The bonds they have with their human companions are more of a partnership.
