The Lab has now held the #1 position for 17 years running! We’ll see if they can beat the record of the Poodle who once held the number 1 position for 23 years! (1960-1982)

Now, we don’t want to forget those guys at the bottom of the list, so we did a little digging and discovered the 10 least popular AKC registered breeds in the US for 2007:

1. English Foxhound
2. Otterhound
3. American Foxhound
4. Sussex Spaniel
5. Canaan Dog
6. Skye Terrier
7. Finnish Spitz
8. Harrier
9. Glen of Imaal Terrier
10. Dandie Dinmont Terrier
