The Faces of The Dog Guide - Dan and Lucian
Yesterday our staff photographer, Lori (who lives with the adorable Pit Bulls, Bart and Keely) , came over to shoot some photographs of me and my pooches. We were planning on going on a nice walk, but the wet sleeting mess outside made that a very unattractive choice! The shoot started outside but then we quickly moved inside as we knew Reef (the Pit Bull princess), would not stand for being out in that mess! We had to settle for a few shots in the brightest room of the house.
Lucian: Lucian is my 11 month old Dogue De Bordeaux puppy. Yes, puppy. He is about 142 lbs this week and his best friend is Newton the cat. Lucian thumps his tail slowly and steadly as Newton rubs all over his face and jowels. Dogue De Bordeaux are quite drooly when they drink, so Lucian is used to having his face wiped afterwords. He acts like a toddler who doesn’t want to be d up at first, but eventually gives in.
