Ask The Dog Guide: Breeding Doberman and Pit Bull?
Question: What would I get if I bred a Doberman and a Pit Bull?
Answer: A mutt. We love mutts here, but there is absolutely *no* reason or excuse to make more of them. Combining 2 breeds of any kind will only make just that (no matter what cute name you give it!). Please visit your local animal shelter, ASPCA or Humane Society and see the many rows of Pit Bull mixes that are looking for good homes. With every irresponsible litter that is bred, that is one less shelter dog that gets a home. Please do not contribute to the ever-growing problem of pet overpopulation.
